Zurra,
Well I highly disagree about all of WoW's Quests as I went from level 10 to level 11 completly from the exploration I had to do from 1 quest and there was no combat involved.
Another thing that is failed to mention about EQ2, is that you WILL have to turn the graphics down quite a bit to do raids etc. While I applaud them for all the options to make the game look incredible, in reality you won't be seeing it when you go raiding unless your standing in the corner with everything on high just to take screen shots.
And tactics? The Same Tactics will not work on all enemy's in WoW, as they are resistant to some and others are not.
And the Quests being limited is partially true, but then again on my long journey quest I picked up about 10 more quests that I'll return to once I get a little bit higher, and there are quite a few npc's I didn't even talk to cause of time. Also does EQ2 let you choose your Quest Reward? Do the noobie area mobs drop stuff you can actually use like weapons and armor? Does EQ2 have quests that start buy stuff you either find in a little hidden alcove or cave or dropped off a mob?
And overall graphics wise WoW has a set style that goes throughout the entire game. Yeah it's a little cartoony but never once have I seen anything that is out of place.
At higher levels mobs die quickly? Um go to fileplanet and check out the Dragon video that was done. 3 guilds and a handfull of other people got a dragon down to something like 68 percent before the dragon went airborn and slaughtered everyone.
I'm not knocking EQ2 but for someone who's said they've played both games extensivly you seem to have a very shortsided and incorrect observation of WoW.
