The World of Warcraft Community Site
(thanks Frans) reflects on the launch of Blizzard's highly anticipated MMORPG in
North America, Australia, and New Zealand. The update admits to problems created
by the rush of new WoW players, and offers some suggestions on how to circumvent
launch issues in the short-term as they work "around the clock to ensure we can
smooth out this initial rush, and we will be working through Thanksgiving to
address the latency issues that players are experiencing."
Either way it can't be worse than the shape EQ2 is in. We Europeans have to wait for WoW and in the meanwhile play EQ2. It's bugged as hell and severs go up and down like yoyos. No two weeks would have fixed EQ2. Count yourselves lucky.
What the hell have you been playing? Playing in Holland on a US server and have no lag problems whatsoever and also haven't encountered any game-ruining bugs...
