Out of the Blue [Nov 23, 2004, 09:34 am ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
I was already running a little behind this morning, and a little plumbing
problem set me even further back. According to our friendly neighborhood
plumber, the pipe to the radiator in our second-floor bathroom, which had
apparently been rusting for years, finally failed, causing a (thankfully minor)
flood in the basement. Turns out this is sort of good news that this finally
came to a head, as he says this was impeding the heat on the second floor as
well as my office above, so having the pipe repaired may well help us keep our
house warmer.

My wife doesn't like computer games. Just doesn't like them. She's pretty anti-violence and anti-gun (she's a Kinder teacher and doesn't like the effects of some real-life stuff like this on kids, as well as had a cousin die in a gun accident when she was young). I've tried things like NFS and others as well to no avail.
Sims? Sims 2? Myst? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?
She doesn't even play solitare more than once a year. Her mom likes Myst, but she didn't get into that, either. She doesn't like SimCity. Haven't tried Sims, but I doubt she'd care for it. If she's not checking e-mail, doing a little on-line shopping/browsing, or doing something for work, she doesn't spend any time on the computer. She reads even more than I do and likes to watch those House Hunter/Clean Sweep/home makeover shows when she gets to sit down for a few minutes.
