I know a lot of people are completing Half-Life 2 in a single diaper-clad
marathon, but I am one to savor these things, so I am playing in more moderate
stretches. One of the things that helps with that is being easily distracted....
I decided to see what Half-Life: Source looks like, and quickly transitioned to
being analytical about the Source translation of the game, to enjoying the
nostalgia of the renewed experience, to being caught up in gameplay. I ended up
playing well past the resonance cascade (I still cracked up when Barney
mutterered about wanting to get his hands on the guy responsible for this), and
now have a saved game to go back to. It certainly reinforces my feelings about
game design... even with the Source-engine enhancements, a lot of the visuals
inspire a "wow, was this really old school state-of-the-art?" kind of reaction,
but as the bard said, the play's the thing, and the play is still fresh today.

I need a little help guys I am little bit stuck has anybody got any tips to help me out ?
I am in the jail level, and I have got to the bit where you have to setup the gun turrets, the problem is I have 3 guns and four exits to cover. So what I have done is moved to the middle where there is a corridor.
I have set up 2 gun to cover the 2 exits, and the other one to cover the corridor. I do this and I manage to stay alive for a wee bit but I keep getting killed. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Secret response:
use 2 turrets to defend the hallway that has the opening to the 2nd floor. Have 1 turret cover one entrance, and use the 2 boxes to block off the other doorway. You can use the barrels and other boxes to impede the Combine progress through the other doors, slows them down so your turrets can pick them off. Just make sure you set them back up when they are knocked down by grenades. And help the turrets, dont just stand there expecting them to do all the work for you.
