Valve Editing Resource Collective has word that the full Half-Life 2 software development kit is to
be released "soon," though a specific date is not mentioned. Word is: "The
upcoming release will include Half-Life 2 mapping support and additional sample
maps, support for cubemaps, and the mod source code." Thanks

It's bizarre to me that you stupid fuckfaces are mocking Valve for HL2. They didn't announce the game until about 2, 2.5 years ago. Compared to some games that are announced 3-4 years in advance and are either canceled entirely or not ever delivered (I think we all know who we're talking about here), Valve is WAY ahead of everyone else.
