I am hoping that the activation servers will be turned up about midnight EST or 9 pm PST.

Because I doubt I can stay up until 2 or 3 am playing again tonight. I was up most of the night playing WoW and only got 3 hours sleep before work today.
Who knows though as excited as I am I may be up half the night again and have to force myself to go to bed at 3 am again.

Just knowing Valve was conscious of COOP during development is a HUGE step forward, YAY!

A truck is not a speech.A horn is not a voice.Occupation is not a protest.A blockade is not freedom,it blocks the liberty of all.
A demand to overthrow a government is not a dialogue.Expression of hate is not a difference of opinion.A lie is not the truth

I'm gonna keep my eye on this one. I didn't hear about Sven until about a year / year and a half ago so I have yet to try it out. This sounds promising, I can't wait.

Noticed some interesting wording on Sven's site. I was hoping Valve would have been feeding them more of the code along the way so they could be working on the mod from before launch - I mean, if the source code was leaked to the internet already can't they look at it in advance?

The source code may have changed a lot since the leak and what they need is not the source code from err... the Source engine. They need the game sdk and the final API specifications. Trying to develop something with pre-alpha code is somewhat risky.

Reason I'm saying it is because I think these guys do awesome work. It may not be the most popular HL mod, but the few times over the years I've had the pleasure of firing it up amongst friends it's been incredibly fun and you can just see how much they've sweat to bring us co-op for a title that was begging for it.
