Official SÖLDNER: Secret Wars Website now offers downloads of a new beta
patch to update Wings Simulations first-person shooter to version 30770. The
change list has details on what's new in the update, which carries this
warning: "The beta update includes all previous changes. You only need to
install beta patch v30770. If you have any kind of mods installed, please remove
them before installing the update otherwise Soldner's Anti Cheat Tool WACHE will
take actions." Additionally, there is an accompanying updated dedicated server.

You know selling dlc before you patch the client doesn't impress upon me the need to support your shit. -massdev
Beta was fun because it had a bunch of features and we hoped The INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF HORRIBLE BUGS would be fixed upon launch.
Sadly they did not.

Yeah, unless they've improved it a thousandfold since launch, you should pretty much disregard the existence of singleplayer in Soldner. Just pretend it doesn't exist. Some of the worst AI I've ever seen; we're talking tanks that actually couldn't fire their turrets and would have to run you down in order to kill you. Stuff like that. Bad times.
Single player is the suc.
I really loved the second demo that was fixed of this game but have yet to find a EB or Gamestop in the area that has the game.
Is the single player just like Tribes 1/2 where you just fight bots or is there any sort of story to it?

The game really does have many great features and ideas. I would definitely look foward to a sequel if Wings can get the funding and time to do it properly next time.

Yes it is fun to play, no there are not many people playing.
I haven't tried the patch yet, mine was fine without it.
I hope this brings more people back to the community, this game is a hell of a lotta fun.
Although it looks like BF2 used the commander idea and so this title will fall even more out of favor.

If ever a game was in need of multiple and drastic patches, it was Soldner at launch. Has anyone played it recently? Are there more than like 200 people online at a time? Did it ever become any fun to play?
