So ..... now that both Nintendo and Sony are out with their portables, how long do you think untill Microcrap announces that they are coming out with one?

Nintendo selling those 'retro' titles at $20 a piece is just ABSOLUTELY ridiculous.

Fuck yes it is. Nintendo knows they can now start to bank on all the nostalgia freaks and collectors from their better days. Hell I even bought the GBA SP NES Edition because it looks so damn cool.(and my good ole GBA reminded me that it's 2004 and I'm still playing a handheld without a backlit screen.)

The fact that the DS comes with Pictochat and another, from what I've read, fairly big and full featured game demo (Metroid Prime : Hunters) built into the hardware, can't wait.

Edit: I hope the new Advance Wars DS has a mapmaking/editing tool like the previous. Being able to transfer your own custom map to the nearest oppenent within 100 feet to then battle each other on would be awesome.

I was looking forward to an alternative system to Nintendo's Iron grip but there are 2 games that I would consider big in the PSP line up...MGS:Acid and Gran Tourismo. The rest I could care less about.

Nintendo DS you get so much more: Metroid Prime Hunters, Final Fantasy 3 (Never released outside of Jap), viewtiful Joe, Advance Wars DS, a new Mario Kart...and that's all near release...plus you can wirelessly download game demos by walking into a store that supports it, AND you get a free demo of Metroid Prime: Hunters when you buy the DS
