Gold - FlatOut

This Bugbear Entertainment Press Release announces that FlatOut is gold, and should be racing into stores by November 5 for the PC, Xbox, and PS2. Here's the quote from BugBear's Jussi Laakkonen about the news: "It's done! It's an incredible rush to go gold with our first PlayStation 2 and Xbox game and also finish the PC version at the same time! We are sure the gamers worldwide will have as much fun playing the game as we had making it. It's time to GO FLATOUT!"

I'm debating whether I should get the PC version or XBox version. No doubt the PC version will be better looking, but it might get more pick up and play time on the XBox.

This is the one where its has these whacked out mini-games. one is hitting a wall and seeing how far your driver gets thrown after he goes through the windshield.

This game is the true successor to Destruction Derby, a game so dear to my heart...I will be happily picking this up upon release...

Does that date include the U.S. ? I heard that they, like many other racing game makers were having a very hard time finding a decent publishing deal in the U.S. You still can't even get Richard Burns Rally or XPand Rally in the U.S. Ratbag even canceled the almost complete Powerslide Slipstream because of their problems finding a reasonable publishing deal.

Warmth, dotn be such an asswipe, your game is cool and all, but trying to get people to buy xbox version over pc one?? Come on, PC slaes are slower as they are, no need for developers to make it worse!!!

Besides the fact that oc version is superior.

ReDeeMeR, it's just his opinion, he likes the game more on the Xbox - you don't need to go attacking him as though Microsoft paid him to say that or anything. But yeah, PC all the way!

Warmth, so, how about a demo? I'd seriously consider buying it from overseas (US here, too) if it's as good as it looks.

PC or X-box? Oct 26, 2004, 18:03

Actually I have 7 computers in my basement and my friends come over to play every few weeks, so you can probably see why I'm going for the pc version. Also if your company releases mod tools how does that benefit the X-box, I'll bet this game will have some awesome total modifications if you released an SDK or some good mod tools. The mods add so much more to the replayability of a game, I probably would have quit playing BF42 a year ago if it weren't for all the cool mods.

EDIT: for spelling
