New 3DRealms Game?

A comment on a story on Game Matters on original games (thanks GameGossip and HomeLAN Fed) has a quote from 3DRealms' Scott Miller that indicates they've got another game in the works other than Duke Nukem Forever. Here's the whole deal for now:
Id is now working on an original project, and although we're known for Duke, we also helped bring Max Payne to the market, and we're currently working on an unannounced original game, too.

"3d Realms had nothing to do with Max Payne except to publish it...Remedy is the one who made the game 3d realms published it and then sold those right to RockStar Games another brillent move by 3d Realms guess they needed the money lol"

This is absolutely incorrect 3D Realms never published Max Payne(infact 3D Realms have quit the publishing bussines a long time ago), Rockstar/Take 2 was the publisher from day one. 3D Realms role in the development of Max Payne was this:

They financed it, 100% from their own pocket whilst paying for DNF at the same time, also 100% from their own pocket.
They helped develop the character.
They handled bussines matters for Remedy, for instance they negotiated the contract with Rockstar/Take 2,theyre relationship with 3D Realms enabled them to receive a much better deal from Take 2.
They came up with the name Max.
They helped out with marketing.
They gave creative input, amongst other 3D Realms co-owner George Broussard perfected the idea of Bullet-Time.
They playtested it(they received one copy a month).
They provided(and still provide) the official forums.
They sell it on their online store.

Remedy was very pleased with its relationship with 3D Realms. Both parties have stated that the project could not have been done without the other.

Max Payne is both a 3D Realms game and a Remedy game, it was by all means a joint collabrative effort by the two companies, it was a very positive relationship.

And it is not the publishing rigths for Max Payne that where sold to Take 2(they had those allready), it was the entire IP, it was sold jointly by 3D Realms and Remedy, since 3D Realms and Remedy both co-owned it.

Remedy could have kept their share of it if they wanted too, infact AFAIK the IP was sold because Remedy didn't want to develop a 3rd game and 3D Realms didn't want to work with somebody else.

The deal with Take 2 about the IP rigths has enabled Remedy to fully self-fund their next game, whatever that may be.

This new franchise is developed in a similar manner to Max Payne. Who the 3rd party developer is is still unknown.
