installment in 3000 AD's Universal Combat/Battlecruiser series, due fourth
quarter of this year. There is an article on the announcement on

Adrenaline Vault that offers some screenshots and movies from the project,
which they describe like this: "The game is based on the new engine technology
being used in next year's Universal Combat: Hold The Line, which will provide
vastly improved graphics than those seen in Universal Combat. According to 3000
AD, Hostile Intent will be purely combat focused, with most of the complexity
and micromanagement normally associated with their games removed."
april 1996. cover of 'computer gaming world' is bc3k. ds has been tooting his own horn ever since and given us games that are sub par. wherever he goes contracts are broken or dissolved with publishers and customers are give games that are broken. yet time and time again he claims the fault isn't his but with publishers who were dishonest or gamers unwilling to read the game manuals,install all the patches, and find a analog joystick to play with so they aren't even allowed on the game website any more if they voice a few complaints or problems. there's nothing illegal in releasing a bad game. but when you promise a great deal over and over again and say each time this is the game i envisioned and total control of its development is mine there comes a point when you have to take responsibility and stop blaming others.
