Men of Valor Demo

As promised, the demo version of Men of Valor is now available, allowing the chance to go in country with 2015's upcoming first-person shooter set in the Vietnam War. Here's a bit from when the demo was announced (story) describing its contents: "...a large urban environment and a small jungle environment from the game. It will sport three game types: deathmatch, team deathmatch, and multiplayer mission. Players will be also able to select from three multiplayer classes: rifleman, machinegunner, and sniper." The demo debuted on GameSpot DLX (registration required) and the 336 MB download is mirrored on 3D Downloads, 3D Gamers, 4Players.de, ActionTrip, Boomtown, ComputerGames.Ro, FileFront, Filerush (torrent), Gameguru Mania, Gamer's Hell, Games-Fusion, JustGamers, and Worthplaying.

I'm curious how you're getting FPS info from the game? I haven't been able to do so yet. It's an Unreal game, but the usual Unreal command for FPS (stat fps) doesn't seem to work. You seem to be gettting pretty specific numbers, though - mentioning that you dropped to as low as 16 FPS. What's the command to get MoV to show the framerate?

"The kicker is that my machine is an Athlon64 3500+ OCed to 2.5ghz and an 6800 Ultra at 410/1.12ghz. 12,700 3dMarks in 2k3 should be proof that this game is just sloppy coding/ unoptimized."

That's the funny thing. My machine is a few years old - only have a P4 2.0 w/ a Ti4600, but I didn't notice any discernable hitching or stuttering - the usual signs for bad framerate. I'm honestly curious - how did you get your numbers?
