SCi Games Press Release announces plans for games based on the Highlander
movies, though no genres or platforms are announced at this point:
Highlander follows the adventures of the Immortals, powerful warriors living secretly among us, living day-to-day lives, they seek out their adversaries, destroying each other throughout history until only one will remain.
Patrick O’Luanaigh, Creative Director at SCi said; “There are so many great opportunities with such a rich license as the Highlander franchise. We will be working closely with Peter Davis and Bill Panzer to develop the Highlander universe further. The concept is ideal for a game.”

Hopefully they'll ignore Highlander II. 
I was all ready to scoff at this idea, but the more I think about it, the more I think this property has some very good potential. Think about it. First person sword-play, you have to become the "one" and battle increasingly more savvy enemies. I think it would be a cool RPG-lite scenario. The game would need a large world with a VERY non-linear path. Aw, who am I kidding, they are gonna BUTCHER this.

Actually, I recall seeing some character screens and whatnot for a Highlander MMORPG a few years back. Looks like the game company is out of business, though.

Haha, this is funny shit. Just last week I was watching Highlander and wondered why they haven't made a game with it yet. I dismissed the idiea as too idiotic. Low and behold SCi comes to prove me wrong.
Oh yeah, and Carma 4 is in the works by some Swedish developer. The only thing I remember of them is their series of crappy F4 racing games on the Playstation years ago.

Realistic environment.
Play from the 1700s up until 2004.
Hypersmart AI, they will dodge attacks and ambush you!
Over 20 weapons!!
