Don't know anything about Meqon, but I think that the difference between good physics and bad physics in a game is not primarily the result of which physics engine was used, but more how the developers managed to tweak it.
I'm sure theres truth to that because the guys are Wings (Soldner) used an open source physics solution and many of the glitches wih the vehicles turned out to be their doing and not the engine.
BTW, Yakuza, don't tell me you're one of those people that take it as some personal disaster that this game isn't out yet....
