RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Demo

The playable RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 demo is now available, allowing the chance to sample the ups and downs in Frontier Developments' amusement park simulator that allows you to get in touch with your inner Disney. The 184 MB download is available on Yahoo! Games Domain (thanks games.bmj.pl) and mirrored on 3D Downloads, 3D Gamers, ActionTrip, Boomtown (registration required), FileFront, Filerush (torrent), Gameguru Mania, Gamer's Hell, Loadedinc (registration required), and Worthplaying.

Well DUH, we freakin sure well BETTER be able to land on planets!!! That's like saying 'you will still be able to go into space.'

I think it was a fair statement. Modeling the whole planet in 3D was well and good back in the age of wireframes and untextured polygons, but I don't think any commercial releases have done the same thing in recent times. How many polygons does a planet need to make it look flat up close? Is each planet still going to consist of a few dozen bases, max? I think saying that we can land on planets sounds fairly impressive, and would like to see how they put it together.
