apparently they did a SP demo a while ago. Not sure how old the MP demo is since no one is talking about it. I'm probably just late to the party. it's pretty fun. I'm not a big fan of the big manga looking armor, but whatever. I'm sure it will shine once polished but T2 felt better.

Yeah I saw a tribes demo on a mag disk, and reading the 'on the disks' page I got the impression it was a SP demo. This kind of confused me for a moment, until then I'd never even thought of tribes as a single player game.

Seems to be an online Vengance beta link on Fileplanet right now. Downloading now.. seems to be online. I didn't do the single player demo so I dunno.

i wasnt expecting Rome until a week on friday, hmm amazon UK is still listing this for 1st October. i am going to be annoyed if even domestic devs are getting delayed releases here. It's irritating on principle, and totally retarded in the time of the bit torrent.

in two weeks time, I would have bought this no questions asked, but right now I'm playing Dawn of War and having a ton of fun.

Good stuff to release one day later than your biggest competitor, Activision. Real marketing BRILLIANCE there. God, I think nowadays the only requirement for getting a job in a game publishing company is that you have to be breathing.

Looing forward to this one shipping in the UK, although not so much the multiplayer portion. Did anyone else find themselves getting their arse handed to them online repeatedly with Medieval, or am I just a poor general?

I pre-ordered at EB and I was told last night I could go by the store today and pick it up.

I have already chomped through said bit and am now working on my arm. Tastes like geek.

hyped up games?

It seems gamers are refering to released games as hyped games for some reason. The only game I can think of that met the "hype" comment over the summer was Doom3.

Except the only thing Tribes V has in common with UT2004 is CTF... the vehicles aren't weak at all either

Too many games coming out? Sure.

Too many GOOD games coming out? Nah, this seems to be the first one.

The Sims 2: The Sims 1 + all expansions in 3d.. Good game but not worth $50.
Tribes: Vengeance: Good game, but it's just too much like UT2004's CTF with vehicles with jetpacks. Vehicles are too weak and you no longer even buy them. Just the same CTF all over again. Not worth $50
Star Wars Battlefront: Not even BF1942, this is just a lame console port.. think CTF with a vehicle or two on tiny maps.

That's about it, did I miss any other hyped up games?
