As for DOOM3, I've been playing id games forever and I think DOOM3 was just "ok". The graphics didn't really shock me because lots of other games came out before it with many of the same features. The gameplay is vanilla FPS.
Fact is, I barely made it half way through the game before I got bored. I've enjoyed it so far, but it hasn't been good enough to keep me interested for long periods of time. I though Riddick's game play was more fun.
