Out of the Blue

Okay, well, the Giants game worked out about as well as could have been expected... could be a long season for big blue fans, and a short one for big blue QBs with that offensive rebuilt offensive line. Oh well, the Eagles have us outclassed at this point, and at least the kid got his feet wet without getting killed, so I'll just consider it a building block.

And when I do, it's all crap info anyway. When you want to participate I can see creating an account, but just to view the site is ridiculous.

Exactly. Registering at Blues? A given. Registering at Backwater Newspaper.com to see their content, not going to happen. Don't they realize they'll get more hits (and therefore, probably more ad revenue) w/o the registration requirement?

Looks like NY Times had a clean out of their database, the ID/PW from this site and also all the ones from bugmenot.com (at least the 10 or so I tried) appear to have been deleted.

Hmm, mine works and I'm pretty sure it's the hudsondog one...(haven't entered it in a long time)

I couldn't read the article because I refuse to register at all these newspapers.

First, install this:

Then, add this:

I couldn't read the article because I refuse to register at all these newspapers. I'm all for safer cars, but anyone besides me wishing this wasn't really necessary?

In most of the instances I've heard/read about recently, the vast majority of the accidents were caused by the pedestrians/bicyclists. A lot of kids/young "adults" these days have absolutely no respect for traffic laws (jaywalking in heavy traffic, walking on red lights, riding their bikes irresponsibly, etc.). I don't know if it starts at home or what, but I'd really like to be able to drive my truck without worrying so much about the lawsuit potentially headed my way because of these arrogant asses.

Wow, Blue... you need to at least look for a silver lining. The running game was better than I would have thought behind a questionable O-Line. Barber did well, and Dayne looks like he's finally ready to become a serious NFL player instead of just a former college star.

I would wait until they play against a team that actually stops the run before signing off on Dayne.

There were some pretty vicious hits laid out on Sunday. I missed the Eli hit...

One thing I noticed was Shockey seemed to go down a lot easier than in the past. Is he hurt?

I'm not too concerned about the O line, it's the D that bothers me. I mean, 31 points - I know it's the Eagles and all, but you just have to keep it lower than that if you want to be [Brandovoice] a contender [/Brandovoice].

My personal Monday morning quarterbacking will have to wait until Tuesday, since my preferred team doesn't play until tonight.

aye, I winced at that too, madness to introduce him to the NFL against the Eagles, looked like a really jawing hit.

It's got to happen sometime... it was a good lesson about not ignoring one side of the field.

Thanks Warner for proving that your still have no control of the football, two fumbles.

Well, I was willing to hold off judgement on this, but word on Kurt is that he's taken one too many shot, and has happy feet... clearly this is the case. Bad enough to fumble by pulling out from center too early, but to get out of there before the ball has snapped for a false start? Not good...

Good to see our "high power offense" full of veterans had the opening game jitters of a rookie squad, dropping way too many passes.

I haven't seen that many drops since Earnest Gray was our deep threat.

Good to see Will Allen consistantly being beat.

That was the worst part of the day for me, since most of the rest of it just matched expectations... I half expect to see Will's picture in the papers running around with Angie Harmon at this point.

Why can't we, just for once, lock down one reciever and just let us get beat by the other ones. Everyone new they'd go to TO (ownens) , he knew they'd goto him, my grandma new they'd pass often to him, just shut him down with 2 guys, and let our coverage be a bit more porous elsewhere...sigh. Whenever a big named reciever comes to town, they break personal records

'Cause we don't have a shut-down corner. Blanketing a top-notch receiver is not a matter of bodies, it's a matter of talent.

BTW, old man Deion Sanders walked out on the field after all that time in the booth and did not get one pass thrown in his direction yesterday...

The O line held up much better than I thought it would, perhaps because Ian Allen isn't in the lineup.

I think you're all missing the point here. The main aim is to smack the little bastard into those red spikes at the start in as bloody a mess as possible
