Robert Duffy's .plan has word that a beta DOOM 3 patch has been released at
Shacknews (registration required) to get
some testing of the first update for the game. The patch includes a bunch of
updates including enhanced support for widescreen monitors and some bug fixes,
while word is a future patch will incorporate PunkBuster anti-cheating support.
The .plan update also says the SDK will accompany the non-beta version of the
patch, and word that the DOOM 3 demo is due soon, as well, offering three levels
of single-player gameplay.
Update: Apparently this is not an exclusive,
and mirrors of the download are now available from
3D Gamers,
Gamer's Hell,
OzForces,
and
Worthplayting.
