Acclaim Closings

A story on MCV (thanks Frans) indicates the bad news just keeps getting worse for besieged developer/publisher Acclaim, which looks to be entering its death throes with some closing announcements:
The company earlier this week announced that it was seeking additional funding, but warned that bankruptcy was a possibility. Sadly, that now looks like being the reality.

Yesterday, the Acclaim Texas facility was closed and this morning the publisher’s Manchester studio was shut down with a loss of 130 jobs. Meanwhile, the European head office in Kensington is not answering its phones.

A announcement to NASDAQ is expected this afternoon.

I was a huge Descent fan in those days as I was Doom/2, etc, and when Forsaken came out, it grabbed alot of Descent fans, some liked, some didn't, but the game was excellent, very few bugs that I recalled(I never had any), and the sportsman ship playing that game was incredible, big happy loving community..(awwww)...anyway, I participated back then in the design a website contest, and won, and got a copy of forsaken from the producer, of which I dont remember his name now, but it took so long to get it, till I rushed out to buy the game anyway, and then got an award at work and recieved yet another copy...(F N A!).
So I have 3 copies of the game, one signed box, curious if it's worth anything on Ebay

I remember forsaken was the first game to use the cool D3d tech of "turbo", where your screen bulged into the middle of the screen, as stuff beside you became blurred, i was so drooling over that back then hehe.
Oh, and Revolt, was a blast, even loosing you could have a great time, what a great game concept.
