Valve sends word that the cyber café portion of the Counter-Strike: Source beta
test has begun:
Phase 1 of the Counter-Strike: Source beta has opened at cyber cafes that subscribe to the Valve Cyber Café Program. A full listing of those venues can be found here: http://www.steampowered.com/?area=cafe_directory
Later this month, the beta will be extended to owners of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and ATI\Half-Life 2 video card bundle owners.
I played CS all the time up until beta 7, when it became shit, because of the players and because of the direction the mod took. Do you have any idea how many people brag about getting accused of cheating? Pretty much anybody who is decent at the game, because it's a very easy game to be decent at, and because the fanbase is mainly 12-year-olds who can't stand actually getting killed. Getting accused of cheating in CS means NOTHING. It just proves what I've said above, that it's an easy game and that the people who play it are idiots.
