A quickie Duct Tape modification
for DOOM 3 is now available. The mod addresses the absence of this essential
tool and provides the ability to attach your flashlight to your machine gun.
She never 'got' Half-Life, preferring to shoot the scientists...
Thats funny, mine did the exact same thing.
The thing is she likes to shoot things, and right now shes not too worried about the story of whatever game she plays. you should have seen her in half life though.
She got pissed off at the hazard course due to its length and tons of content, and then got pissed off when riding down the big elevator with all the face huggers falling down after her. We called it a day after that.
oddly enough i was reading penny arcade and Tycho made the comment that Doom 3 will make true gamers out of non-believers. I came home later that day and she was slowly working her way through the intro to D3.
She gets pissed at the flashlight switching and darkness but this mod and a bit of gamma adjustment should sort that out. i figure the more training she gets with this and Q3 the safer i will be in buying expensive graphics cards!
