Pacific Assault Demo Delayed Again

EA sends word that the Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault demo that has already suffered one delay (story) but was supposed to be imminent (story), has suffered another setback:
It is with regret that I must announce that the MOHPA SP Demo release is postponed and is planned for release in a couple weeks. Unfortunately, I can't go into more details than this at this time. I apologize for the start & stop as I was really looking forward to releasing the demo, but can say with confidence that I know you'll be impressed when you get a chance to play it for yourselves.

My bet is that they screwed up their Installshield scripts, forcing them to use a few weeks to write them again

or may be they want to play doom 3 so they cant bother with a demo now.

For me, I don't think Doom 3 is going to be the time sink HL2 is. Doom 3 is going to have a solid 20+ hours of great single play, but the multi really is an unknown quantity now (come on 4 player deathmatch is fun for only so long). HL2 on the other hand ships with updated versions of CStrike, Team Fortress and others not to mention the retarded number of mods coming. I really don't see coming up for air for several months when HL2 ships.

In any case, my point, games like MOH just aren't going to get much share of mind from gamers till next spring.

God bless doom 3 !
All we're hearing from everyone for the last year is delay, delay and more delay...
bring on D3 and let's forget about the rest..

Hope they aren't pulling another HL2 "September delay".. Have an odd feeling that they aren't close to finished with this game in the 1st place to be releasing a demo
