Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow Patches

New patches are now available for Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, updating the stealthy Sam Fisher sequel to version 1.31. The North American patch can be found on 3D Gamers, ActionTrip, FileFront, FilePlanet (registration required), Gamer's Hell, and Worthplaying; the French Canadian version is available on 3D Gamers, ActionTrip, FileFront, FilePlanet (registration required), Gamer's Hell, and Worthplaying; while the European/Asian edition can be found on 3D Gamers, ActionTrip, FileFront, FilePlanet (registration required), Gamer's Hell, and Worthplaying. The update fixes the "spy teleportation problem" as well as a Punkbuster bug.

The multiplayer is awesome, and if you havent tried it yet and dont have the game (anymore?) go grab the MP demo and check it out!

ya, multiplayer is great fun. pretty glitchy even after all the patchs but still great fun. hopefully the fix for the teliport glitch also manages to stop the stuck in a box glitch; it seems like all a part of the same flakey netcode anyway.

I've never even played the SP portion of the game. This is THe pick-up game on my LAN when there are only a few people over at my place. I humbly suggest that if you have a couple friends available for gaming you seek this title out when it hits the bargain bin or eBay or beating up kids for the lunch money.

Doh! Never tried it. The "Indonesian terrorist" voice actors sounded like the devs approached random shoppers in a mall and asked them to read some lines into a microphone, that kind of put me off the whole deal. That and the time I quicksaved mid-way through a level, then every time I re-loaded it failed the mission.
V. nice graphics though.

The single player is average. Multi-player is unique and fun.

I've already sold my copy of the clunky, AI-challenged, badly-voiced sneak-em-up. Money's going towards Doom 3.
