Of course this is not true and many Trymedia games have been cracked like Dead Man's Hand.
I wouldn't bother even if the protection is cracked. The Trymedia version of Dead Man's Hand is missing almost all of the video clips from the CD-ROM version. Plus, the Trymedia version is an older version than even the retail CD-ROM and is not updateable the latest version of the game and some of the map files are even different. So, the Trymedia version and the retail CD-ROM version of the game can't even play each other in multiplayer mode.
Dead Man's Hand is one of the best examples of why Trymedia games should be avoided.
