Im enjoying it.

Just started to play and am having a great time. I think if you powered through it then you would run out of content, but for casual gaming it's great.

I gave up SWG after 2 months(which WAS a waste of time)and now have this as my MMO of choice. This was ment to be a stop gap for me until WoW, but I may stay for a while.

The only downers I'm experiencing so far is that lack of interaction with objects, If im super strong I woud like to be able to chuck some shit about. Also I would like to see some weather effects. Oh well.

Character creation is cool.

I'm loving CoH, and I've been playing it since just a week after it's release. Very few games have kept me coming back for more like this one. It gets rid of all the boring aspects of your average MMO (crafting, harvesting, 30-minute travel time) and focuses entirely on beating up bad-guys. And the bad-guys are actually DOING things (stealing handbags, breaking into warehouses, dealing drugs, gang wars etc.) instead of just sitting around waiting to be killed.

"It really isn't a good game. Its like playing a console game. This game is just to low-brow for PC and way to simple."

Well that's just rubbish. Few people hate 'consoleish' games more than me, and I love depth in a game. You might think that CoH is "low-brow" because it is intuitive, easy to learn and doesn't make you sit around doing nothing for hous on end. But this does not make it a bad game, in fact it makes it a very well-designed game and it highlights just how awkward and clunky most MMORPGs are.

BTW: City of Villains is currently slated for release early next year.

Let me put it this way - their first major update hit today, and I STILL don't give a shit enough to log in.

tedious... lol! This game probably has the best interface I've ever seen in an mmog.

What in the hell does interface design have to do with repetitive gameplay?

You haven't done a task force mission yet have you? They can take 4-6 hours depending on the team and how easy it is to complete!

Then don't do one if you don't have the time. That's the beauty of this game. You can either jump right in and play for an hour, or play a 5 hour marathon where the 5 hours actually makes a difference (i.e. not like other mmorpgs where it may take 20 minutes just to find someone)

You can get burned out on this pretty easy. How long has it been out? A month or so? I haven't played at all in the last two days. At level 25 to 27ish it get pretty monotonous, and there are only so many times I want to play a new character up through the exact same areas with the exact same villians.

This is a flavor of the month game, beware

It is only popular because people are waiting for the BIG 2 to be released

It is a very tedious and repetitive game.

You are warned
