Another update to the CarBall
automotive sports modification for Unreal Tournament 2004 is now available,
updating the project to version 1.9. The new release adds a new map, tweaks
gameplay, and fixes some bugs.

Wow this is probably one of the better ut2k4 mods out. That star wars one was kinda crappy.
If you mean that after playing some mods, you can no longer connect to other gametypes, then that's a bug that the mod authors need to address. I had that problem with an earlier version of CarBall and found a code snipit on the wiki for fixing that

I have a fully legit copy of UT2K4, but whenever I install some mods (dunno which ones exactly, downloaded and installed practically all of them :D), I can no longer play on the Internet. Is there a fix for this? Or is what you just described a workaround for that? It is quite frustrating - all these fun mods, but if you install them, it breaks the regular game

Firstly, there's only ONE person developing CarBall, me. There are no other people on the development team
If you are having problems installing UMod files because you have a warez copy, or if UT2004 messed up the association on installing, try this..
-Copy the umod file to your UT2004\System folder.
-Open a DOS command prompt and CD to the UT2004\System folder.
- type the following command..
Setup install <filename>
That should install the UMod
