Sure enough, temperatures hit about a million degrees around here yesterday.
Among other things, I am seriously considering checking out
Gila Window Films,
a product to address this recommended by Enahs (there are just a few small
attic-type windows up here, but any little bit helps). Even then the AC up here will clearly remain a
few BTUs shy of what's required... at one point yesterday I started
seeing mirages.

Vote for green, they are running candidates in all major ridings, and new law here provides $1.75/year/vote to any party which gets votes. If a few hundred thousand people vote green this year, they will be able to mount a real campaign in 4.
The liberals are fucking evil, but at least they dont want to kill people in foreign countries, which the conservatives do, they (libs) just liketo steal our money and fuck around endlessly. Those fucking assholes want to turn us into USA's favorite cheerleader, complete with outlawing abortion, gay marriage, and a continued war on pot (which, if anyone hasnt been to canada, is quickly replacing beer as the intoxicant of choice).
The companies will be very pleased.
