Well...if it was my work, I'd be pissed simply because it wasn't the way I intended it to be seen. Another example would be to take a popular painting, and censor it. You're changing the artists version of what they're trying to present. (And don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to compare a hack and slash film to a famous painting, it's just that in both cases, the media is changed to reflect the values of whoever views it, and those values may not represent how the writer/director/artist wants his/her media to be viewed.)

I didn't read the article, but doesn't Parental Lock on dvds do the same thing? I'm guessing a lot of dvds don't include the feature?
