The first Unreal Tournament 2004 patch is now available, updating the
multiplayer shooter to version 3204. The patch is a 12 MB download, available
from 3D Gamers,
ActionTrip,
GameSpot
(registration required), and there a bunch of mirrors listed on the
Atari Forums (thanks shpankey).
I just wonder how many people who are having crashing problems have bothered to clean up their system? It can't POSSIBLY be that they've got corrupt files or malfunctioning hardware, COULD IT? It couldn't have ANYTHING to do with a poorly vented case or a bad airflow layout, causing a component to overheat, COULD IT?
Granted, these issues should also pop up with other games, but it's amazing how quick people are to blame a game without seeing if their system isn't at fault.
