Aspyr announces plans to publish a PC version of Pitfall: The Lost Expedition, the console revival of the diggable adventures of Pitfall Harry. Word is: "The development will be handled by Beenox Studios, and is due for completion this summer." Here's the deal:

Deep in the Peruvian Jungle, assume the role of Pitfall Harry, a fearless, rough-and-ready treasure seeker who battles evil using his athletic ability and a knapsack filled with adventure gear. I know what you are saying... I played through Mario64 and I have played many other games with similar control schemes. None of them are perfect though. I fell off many a ledge in mario and sonic. Not to mention almost everyone complains about camera controls in third person games...

All I'm saying is that it is not impossible to become acclimated to using a mouse and keyboard in a third person game.
