to publish a PC version of Pitfall: The Lost Expedition, the console
revival of the diggable adventures of Pitfall Harry. Word is: "The development
will be handled by Beenox Studios, and is due for completion this summer."

When you play Bloodrayne, you use a mouse to change your heading/rotation, right? In that case, the mouse is probably better.
In games that have the view independent from the character, and camera relative movement, mouse control isn't really an option. And keyboard controls only let you move in 4 or 8 directions (without zig-zagging). Almost no PC-only games have the view seperate form the camera, and also have camera relative movement. Maybe you haven't played many games like that?
