See now I was told 40% faster then 6800u.. I didn't twist his words.. I just heard them second hand.
As to the fp24, did you realize the next DX9 requires fp32? Thats what makes me wonder why valve doesn't support it, and it's just a coincidense that ATI still chooses to support fp24, but nVidia doesnt, when all the next gen technology requires it. That and ATI is doing all kinds of bundles with valve games.
It doesn't take a physicist to realize theres a lot of money being put in peoples pockets, enough to tweek an engine in favor of those who are putting that money in your pocket
As to the CS2 vouchers.. it IS comming from the Enquirer lmao. That and most companies are screwing over a LOT of poeple with the whole HL2 bundle faisco. We'll have to wait and see.
I'm not the type to have conspirasy theories in my head. But this is just to much. Not that I really care. I have no plays on buying an ATI card anyway. Even IF it runs better in Valves engine.
Thats another thing, valve keeps insisting that ATI cards run there engine better then anything else, yet Troika is making Vampire: Bloodlines based off the engine, and are showing the game off with nvidia run machines in there current press tours and saying it runs fine (and NOT 6800u's).
I cant help but think something is fishy here, and knowing the extreme competition between these two companies. I wouldn't put it passed ATI to stuff Valves pockets for a little edge. I wouldn't put it passed nVidia either. I mean both have done things like this in the passed (like fudging 3dmark tests.. which both have done.)This comment was edited on May 10, 13:39.
