Sony Online Entertainment Announces Omens of War Expansion for Everquest (thanks Frans) announces yet another expansion (the eighth?) for EverQuest, SOE's MMORPG. Word is: "This expansion will feature new high-level Epic weapons while raising the player level cap to level 70. EverQuest players will also enjoy a new visual appearance thanks to the use of the new next-generation graphics engine. EverQuest: Omens of War is scheduled to be available at retail and for digital download from Sony Online Entertainment for $29.99 in July." The EverQuest: Omens of War Website is already online.

Ahaha Derek French? Yeahhhh right. Hi Derek, I'm John Romero.

I'm fairly certain that it was established that Derek is who he says he is.

Why he (and the 2-3 other developers) post here is beyond me. Imagine being a film buff and having a director take the time to post a comment. I doubt they would get the rough trade the developers here do.
