I'm both excited and worried about this. I'm looking forward to another Thief title, but afraid that IS didn't do the series justice.

If the game is supposed to be released the 26th, then where is the demo? I definitely want to check out the demo of this before purchasing.

Their plan all along was to completely dash our hopes with DX: IW so that Thief would seem to be a master work by comparison!

the one thing that bugs me alot about this next installment is the fact that garret will have a robotic eye

It is the medieval age and all...robot eyes weren't exactly common last time i checked

we dont even have those now, well sorta, but not perfected

you must have been real pissed with all the robots and machinery in the last installment then, eh? it does bug me too, to an extent, but i guess it's a fantasy game after all, not european history.

The original 2, well the second not sure about the first, had lots of weird stuff like that. Steam powered robots and what not.

He had a robotic eye in Thief 2. You could zoom in and out and also use scout orbs to see into nearby rooms.

The world of Thief is a unique one, a blend of magic, technology and religion. Don't try to compare it to actual history, it's not meant to be a documentary on thievery in Medieval times.

Speaking of Garrett's robotic eye, I noticed on the cover that they changed it a bit, and now it glows green. They changed quite a bit about this installment of Thief, and I'm very worried about how it will be, having played Invisible War (from which they essentially removed ALL stealth.) I'm a huge fan of the first two Thief games, so I'm obliged to buy this game, but I'm still afraid, very afraid.

Huh, I actually liked the robots and other mechanical stuff. As waxthirteen said, it's more of a fantasy type game than actual history. I like that better anyways.. but maybe thats just me.

this is ridiculous. the thief series was intended to be edutainment that teaches people about history and what life was like in the me-devil days or watever its called. there is no place for original ideas or creativity in a title like this.

Where the hell did you get -that- from? I still recall playing thief and fighting zombies with holy water. If you honestly think that's what it was like in medieval times, you are either on some serious crack or you really need some education on the matter that doesn't come from a video game.

The first thief had undead zombies in it (scary ones too), so I'm not sure why you are complaining about a robot eye.
