Lineage II Live

NCsoft Launches Lineage II Commercial Service is another press release from NCsoft, announcing Lineage II, their other new MMORPG, is also live. Here's a portion:
Austin, TEXAS, April 28, 2004— NCsoft® Corporation (KSE: 036570.KS), the world’s leading developer and publisher of online computer games, announces the launch of North American commercial service for Lineage® II: The Chaotic Chronicle. Lineage II is the much-anticipated prequel to the world’s most popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), Lineage.

Lineage II, which takes place in the medieval fantasy world of Aden, offers a dynamic 3-D setting drawn in exquisite detail. Players explore and quest through beautifully rendered 3-D environments crafted with a modified version of the Unreal® engine. Backgrounds and characters have a nearly perfect, life-like appearance, giving Lineage II a look and feel that separates it from its predecessor – and all other MMORPGs.

At its core, Lineage II focuses on combat and player vs. player battles. Create your character from five races, most in either fighter or mystic classes: Human, Elf, Dark Elf, Orc and Dwarf. Then go one-on-one against other players or become a member of a clan to take on entire armies of opposing players. And it’s easy doing battle while using Lineage II’s simple, point-and-click interface. Play the bad guy too long and you may find yourself feeling the consequences of Lineage II’s brilliantly designed Karma system.

"Anarchy Online"

But as for new games, someone should just take the Shadowrun license and make an online game from that with a GM-aspect to it. You have a character that runs on missions. The experience he gains can be put towards GM-abilities to GM your own missions. Coupled with the futuristic post-apocalyptic atmostphere of Shadowrun, tell me that wouldn't be cool..
