does anyone care to speculate as to what the story of HL2 will be?

Maybe the Valve crew in an attempt to legitimize their major delay and look good to their superiors "hired" some anonymous kid to leech the source code. I downloaded the leeked version and believe you me it was a whacked presentation. I deleted it as fast as it was installed.

Sounds like Gabe is planning to run for public office with an interview like that; having Vivendi say that they were delayed by the theft when it happened rather than just admitting they were going to miss the ship date.

Almost adds credibility to the argument that the code theft was engineered/faked.

Ah. So, has Gabe Newell and other Valve employees been arrested and charged with fraud and lying to a federal officer? After all, they've had the FBI involved for 6 months now, including some rather expensive overseas investigations involving the police forces of other countries.

Has ATI sued Valve for breech of contract? Of course, they probably could've done this anyway. I suspect the Valve/ATI relationship is rather strained at this point.

Who cares if the game is delayed. The first one was delayed several times too, and it was worth the wait.

I would much rather wait and have a good, solid game than get rushed piece of shit, like so many other games that come out.

Now, if it still sucks after all the delays, then you can whine.

oh there was SO much most definately a code theft....

and those shots all look ace, appart from the helicopter which looks *very* sub par imo compared to the rest of the models seen (mainly it's stabalizer)

Come on, lay off the poor guy's weight. I was a fat kid all the way through high school but a sick love affair with cocaine in my 20's took the excess off pretty frickin quick. A decent diet and a little exercise keeps it off now BTW.

***NOTE: Blow is an excellent appetite killer and it speeds the metabolism temendously but it's also and excellent people killer so I don't recommend it to any of our rotund friends out there. A heart attack at 28 from too much coke one night ended that habit just as quick***

Anyhoo, being a fat ass sucked and it's really not as easy as some think to just change your diet and lifestyle. Give the guy a break on his fat ass. He does deserve to be kicked in it for HL2 though.

And yes, he's probably the reaking fart king at valve.
