Really hope it's the BIOS. Otherwise I'm flummuxed. I guess I can test the DVD+/-RW drive to make sure it's good. After that I'll have to talk to Newegg about RMAs.

Make sure your IDE cables are installed the right way
Also, some mobo have a maximum cable length
Are you getting past POST?
Motherboard?
Is your CD-Rom in the secondary IDE channel? Is it set to Master, slave or cable.
Mine was set to cable and it would not boot until I set it to master.
Consider yourself slapped.

Ahem. I did not receive this as I am rightly entitled to.
Put together the new Ath64 system. It isn't booting from CD

I say we nuke nebraska from orbit...it's the only way to be sure.
Enough that when I get pulled over for speeding, I make damn sure my hands are at 10 and 2, and end every sentence with "Sir"That's about 180 degrees from the way it is up here, for me anyway. I haven't been pulled over in a few years now (cut down on my speeding), but when I have been, I've never felt threatened or uncomfortable (except by the fact that I could get a multi-hundred dollar ticket). The cops I've dealt with have been condescending pricks, don't get me wrong, but I have never once been in fear of them. I can't be the only one.
Just dumped $6300 on a new roof...Setting today with only felt topside...crossed fingers...
American cops are nothing but thugs with badges. This attack was a purely "how dare you challenge my authority, now I'll teach you a lesson" attack that is way too common in the U.S.
