Interplay Eviction?

Interplay facing eviction? on GameSpot picks through an 8-K form filed by Interplay for details like the publisher's "disparity between its cash balance of $1.2 million and working-capital deficit of $14.8 million," and that "As of April 1, 2004, the Company [Interplay] was three months in arrears on the rent obligations for its corporate lease in Irvine, California." This three months worth of rent is to the tune of $450,000. The story goes on to report:
"On April 9, 2004, the Company's lessor served it with a Three-Day Notice to Pay Rent or Surrender Possession," continued the 8-K filing. "If the Company is unable to pay its rent, it may lose its office space, which would interrupt operations and cause substantial harm to business."...

Given that it has been three days since April 9, the eviction matter should have already been settled one way or the other. However, calls and e-mails to Interplay were not returned.

Troika is the natural as all those boys did the original

Nah just three of em, and five people were involved with the initial design for Fallout. I'd rather see Obsidian finish the game, Urquhart knows how to produce a game, Tim Cain doesn't. I'd rather have a solid but smaller Fallout 3 than a massive, ambitious yet heavily flawed Fallout 3.

I mean, how many people - besides Tim and myself - have read A Canticle for Leibowitz?

I have. A powerful book, I especially liked the conclusion to the first part. The appearance of Leibowitz marked the beginning of Brother Forget-His-Name's professional life. When you see Leibowitz again off in the distance you realize whats about to happen and the emotional impact of that moment is simply astounding.
