I didn't get to try it, kept crashing as I was looking for online servers. So I uninstalled it and deleted the download file.

I have a very basic system, fx5900 and audigy2. All whql drivers, nothing special, and this crap game didn't work right. I had these floating artifacts all across the screen the whole time, and using "1st person" view and the open wheel cars netted NO graphics for my car or any other on the road. All I saw where their wheels on the road. In 3rd person they showed fine, but were a good 3 feet in the air in the distance.

The sound was VERY basic at best. And that was in "Ultra" mode. Engine sounde were generic and no ambient sounds save another car when it was within 10 ft of me.

The physics were a JOKE. You have ZERO feel for the car. If you doubt me, go d/l the Live For Speed demo and see what real car physics are all about.

If you fanboy's really want to prove me wrong then try something besides "He's worng". I'm a hardcore Race sim player. If you're a hardcore race arcade player, then BUY this game, it's definately a must for any arcade racing fan.

graphx were fine, sound definitely not the best..tried playing with settings, couldn't get it any better. Can't tell when you're pushing the limit on pro mode, just jumps sideways randomly. No squealing, also, no rear view mirrors, have a rear looking camera that you can switch to, but then u cant see front, but only way to tell if someone's close to you is this wacky red arrow dancing around the bottom of the screen, no engine noise from other cars, can't tell when you're locking up wheels, either graphically in the formula fords or otherwise, no squealing, no scratching, no nothing.
I wanted to like it, had decent fun playing online for 1.5 hrs, and its kind of fun, but handling is bizarre on pro-mode. this is coming from grand prix legends and nascar2003 running with wheel and pedals

Reverse everything that Rebian said about this game and you have a fairly accurate statement. I kid you not.

Sim racing = dont get this crap
arcade racer = this is great, best racing GAME ever.

LOTS of bugs, graphical etc, artifacts everywhere. Sound, (which is touted as bet in any racing game ever), is very flat. Can't hear other cars until they're within 10ft of you - sounds like your racing in a tunnel. Engine sounds are as generic as they get. I'm running ths on your basic fx5900 and audigy 2 combo, all normal up to date drivers.

Very arcadish feeling. Pro mode is difficult, but in a bad way. You can't feel what the car is gonna do at all and you just have to race like you do in a good sim and hope for the best.

Multiplayer is chock full of the under 16 croud. I think I'll just leave this game to them.

P.S. I wanted this to be good !! Guess I gotta wait for GTR. Germans in game all said the same thing, the F1 dtm mod was better



Total rubbish , dont listen to this guy , try it for yourself, i had no graphic errors , sound was great i have pre ordered it. great fun.

I too cant wait for GTR, that should be a great sim. Its pretty sad when mods are better then some racing games coming out.
