Graphically it looks like a cross between Operation Flashpoint and Ghost Recon. The textures are bland (at least SOME detail in the cliffsides would have been nice), the fences look like cardboard cutouts even from a distance, and they'd better have an option to disable that RIDICULOUS "swaying" grass- The grass looks more like it's responding to a snake-charmer than the wind. I find the graphics to be as lack-lustre as the demo-launch itself- a defective .exe followed by an absense of any servers?! If the server list is hammered to death within an hour of the demo being released, what's gonna happen when a few thousand people are trying to log in? They should either fire their QA dept, or hire one, whichever applies. And what is up with these little weapon shops all over the place? "Gee, I think I'll stop at one of these litle shacks scattered all over and pay for a new gun"...now that's realism! If I take over a base, I think I'd rather just shoot the clerk (not that there are any) and just TAKE the freaking gun...lol. Anyways, if you don't care about graphics, maybe the actual game will be fun, but my lan experiment is as far as it goes for me because I don't keep my machine on the cutting edge so I can play a game that looks like something I shelved two years ago. There is no suspension of disbelief here. These folks ought to do themselves a favor, get a license to use the FarCry engine and start all over. I'd hate to hurt Teut's feelings, seems like a nice proffesional guy, but YUK!
