More Rumblings of a War Story

An update to Gearbox's Warstory.net has the second teaser about their upcoming project, ticking off from D6 to D5 with a quote from Shakespeare's The Life of King Henry the V: "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; for he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother."

Funny. The first quote was by a retired Army Officer, so everyone assumed the next Gearbox game will be a realistic infantry simulation along the lines of Operation: Flashpoint. Now the second quote also happens to be the epigram to Band of Brothers, so everyone assumes that the game will be another boring WWII shooter (nevermind that COD was a lot of fun).

Gearbox hasn't done anything good, original, or bug free since their mission pack for half life.
Exactly my feelings. OpFor was awesome but everything since then has been subpar.

Although, it would be really cool and very clever if this turned out to be TF2. Interesting thought.

Who's gonna play me? I think I should play me.

It's another WWII game.

Probably set in normandy 1944 with you as a paratrooper.

The play is usually just called "Henry V" (pronounced Henry the Fifth not "Henry the V")

Maybe the game is actually about Agincourt 1415, where Shakespeare has King Henry speak those words?

That would be far more interesting than yet-another-WWII-shooter. yaaaawn.

Aye, Gearbox and the house of Valve have seemingly split ways.

Getting a little tired of all the classic war games,

Team Fortress 2? I'm not sure about that though. "TF2 Brotherhood of Arms". That is if they kept the name.

nah, I'm pretty sure this will be a completely original game. Gearbox has been chomping at the bit to do their own stuff for a long time.

what is this now?

No one knows yet. There was some speculation that this will be similar to Operation: Flashpoint but all we really know is that it is some military related game.
