Since I disliked 'Land Warrior' and 'Black Hawk Down', I wasn't expecting much from 'Joint Operations'. However, after about three prolonged rounds, I'll admit it's somewhat enjoyable - but I doubt I'll be buying it. Maybe playing 'Far Cry' has jaded me a bit, because 'Joint Operations' looks pretty bland visually (even on the highest settings). The gameplay is ok - some here seem to think it's not like the Battlefield games, but I hold the contrary opinion. Nor did I see much evidence of teamplay - mainly a bunch of guys all called Wombat, team-killing the hell out of each other. I imagine that can be dealt with to an extent, and although it's quite fun, I can't see myself parting with my cash for the full release...
