For a minute you had me confused but now I understand. I guess you're talking about the AthlonXP chips (2800, 2500, etc)? Those are their budget ends now while the higher end Athlon64 are in the 3000,3200,and 3400 range (equivalent to clock speeds of 3Ghz, 3.2Ghz, and 3.4Ghz). Then there's also the higher end FX- series whose price is.... insane.
Note that even Intel is acknowledging (given they are changing naming practices) that the number of gigahertz is not the only determining factor in how fast a PC can go.
