SCO was unprofitable last quarter but would have been in the black if not for a $9 million payout to its attorneys, led by David Boies of Boies, Schiller & Flexner.

Anyone know if Boies, Schiller & Flexner is publically traded 'cause this is the one company I KNOW will make some serious money out of this crap.

Wow, I'll compile that right into my open source Gnutella client. Yes sir.

I can imagine the secret presentations in the halls of Congress. This is a"laptop". It is running some software that we thing should be "illegal". We have a version of the software that respects artist's "rights". The RIAA lobbyist that sent me here will contact you about "lunch".

There will always be more networks.
Even if everyone has this installed, WinZip defeats any possible attempt to compare the file with any non-zipped (with the same encryption key) file.

Just zip it up with a key, stick the key in the file name. Voila, no comparing. Once the database caches a copy of the zipped version, just re-zip it with a different key.

Simple and cheap. Unlike the software they're trying to write.
