I mean I know it's a Q&A format but it just seems like these interviewers don't even listen to the person they're interviewing.
It's a minor distinction, but the situation you describe is why I insist on labeling such things as Q&As rather than interviews, since they are usually conducted via email without the opportunity for interactivity or follow-ups.

I mean I know it's a Q&A format but it just seems like these interviewers don't even listen to the person they're interviewing. The questions are always surface level crap that I could read off of the developers website like how many levels and "why the grass looks spectacular". They never ask for further clarification or actual details.
