DL'ed before the whores saw it, Hmm, I didn't expect much and thats what I got unfortunately. Looks good texture wise, the characters look childishly bad, wish I could say it had better content and story. Felt like a bargain game overall. I'm going to pass on this game. Uninstalled!

Aye, what with Far Cry and UT 2004, here's hoping for three out of three, (even though they're punishing my social life truth be told, sigh...)

I'm only expecting a Blood style Serious Sam from this one. Anything more is a bonus...

Bah. I've managed to download a whopping 1.2 MB while having already uploaded about 20 MB on the torrent. Something seems patently unfair here....

haha, after playing the beta for so long, seeing new stuff is joyful. The metal frames on the side of the speargun, those are new Zombies have new details like holes in the, The framerate got optimized better it seems because before it was blazing fast, now it's flawless . A new load screen, that's a nice touch. Last but not least, I was able to spear some guts that was thrown at me

I think FarCry was a bit overhyped. Yeah its pretty etc, but its not the second coming ...

well, i think that this game is lacking something... it's got cool weapons, it's got some nice graphics... but the gameplay is very "eh"

the weapons are too slow paced to get the adrenalin pumping, the enemies are generally uninteresting, and i really think we need some sort of superpower/bullet time thingy in this game... i know there are "cards" you can use, but you can only use them once per level... lame.

also, there really isn't much ammo around... a big no no for a pure action game.

Funny. I thought UT 2004 is a bit overhyped and not all that. I guess we all have our preferences. I loved Far Cry. Close to the second coming compared to what has been out.

I'm only waiting for Far Cry because it promises to deliver a highly uncommon multiplay. Same with Pandora Tomorrow.

This game rocks- the physics\graphics\gameplay are awesome if you spend the time to explore. Runs smooth as hell too. Can't believe someone said they uninstalled it right off. I've been waiting for this one. Guess I'm one of the few 'round here who still likes Quake-type games.

Well I loved it as well. Awesome graphics, of course having a 3.2, gig-o-ram, and 9800xt doesn't hurt

I am in the multiplayer beta as well, that is also a blast.

I guess if you didn't like serious sam than don't bother with this one, but I think its fun.

Speaking of Sam, Croteam had something on there website late last year about haveing a tech demo of the new enigine coming out soon and that's the last I've heard about it. Anyone else hear anything ???

Yeah, it's not bad at all - although it did crash to desktop somewhere in the second level (when you're in the courtyard full of crossbowmen). I wouldn't mind that so much except the inability to save means I'd have to start from the very beginning of the demo all over again. Ragdoll & object physics are nice (if not new), atmosphere is decent, and it ran smooth as silk on my rig with all settings maxed.

But I concede that people who don't like Serious Sam (or even the original Blood) probably won't like this - they're very similar titles. I may pick up the full version, but not before other titles due around the same time (eg. Far Cry, UT2K4, BF Vietnam).
