Newell. They discuss various concerns about the upcoming game, including

does anyone know how stable the Athlon64 chipsets/motherboards are?

Been running A64 3200+ system since mid/late October of last year. Rock solid, no issues or any kind, and blazing fast (well, compared to my old 700 MHz P3 laptop, just about anything would be blazing fast).
