It's a double-burial here at the BlueTower today, as we're buried in snow, and
of course, buried in email. This worm continues to flood the internet, Frans
putting the number of infected mails at one-in-12
places it as one-in-nine. The ratio is even worse here, and I needed to wade
through my mail server with a machete before I could even get the mess to download
(wheee!). Meanwhile, there's another huge pile of snow outside. Whatever happened
to the good old days when the weatherman was always wrong? Seems like lately
they are always right on, which would be fine if they would only stop predicting
Oh, and once again, one can only hope there's a special ring in techie hell for
ISPs and users "savvy" enough to notify senders that they may have sent a
virus... nothing like trying to plow through the endless worms and also have to
suffer through all these idiotic "you may have sent a virus" warnings that are
being sent to the forged return addresses on these mails.
Will spam be gone by 2006
