We wanted to let you all know that we're listening to your questions about the Call of Duty patch. I've spoken to the team and thought it might help to let you know that updates are definitely coming. Infinity Ward is working now to complete the first update meant to address several issues like bunny hopping, etc.. We also know that you're very concerned about cheat protection. The guys at Infinity Ward are currently considering the best way to address cheat protection. The guys are working really hard and as soon as I have more info, I'll pass it along.

That’s pretty damned funny space captain. This is the same argument we see for anything that is generally despised by the majority of gamers. For instance, AWP whores in CS will always claim that you aren’t a good player if you can’t handle an AWPer. But what does the AWP whore do? He goes to a choke-point on the map, crouches, and waits. He shoots anything that moves and it will kill them in one shot. They cannot retaliate against a gun that kills them instantaneously. If the AWPer happens to miss, he’ll do one of several things like hide behind a box or quick-change to the Deagle. The point is that the AWPer has a distinct advantage and camps and that’s all he does. It makes it boring for other players. The AWP whore is only concerned with himself. He doesn’t care about anyone else at all. He is highly likely to be one of those people that do not care about the objective, and is a stat whore. The point is that this idiot is a selfish jerk.

Now, in COD, we have these feebs jumping around all over the place. Why do they do it? One reason, because they can win by doing it. They don’t care that they look like idiots. They don’t care that other people don’t like them because of it. They care about one thing, winning. The problem with this, is not winning. Winning is a good thing. The problem is that jumping everywhere is exploiting a part of the game that was not meant to be used like that. Just like mines are placed on the map to keep people in the map boundaries, but there are people who know a couple of places on some maps that they can gain an unfair advantage and get past the minefield. Jumping everywhere does make them harder to hit. It doesn’t have anything to do with being good enough to kill someone who exploits something. It has to do with the person exploiting the problem. The simple fact of the matter is that it is many times more difficult to kill someone who is jumping around in Call of Duty. It does look stupid. People in a real battle might use evasive action to prevent from being wounded or killed, but jumping like a stupid freak is not one of the things that they would do because it would not be a useful means except to expedite the end of their life.

So basically, to sum this up, I think that people who jump around are stupid, selfish assholes & people who defend them are probably the same stupid, selfish assholes that can’t handle playing a fair game because their extremely delicate little bitty egos might get damaged by finding out that without their exploits they just plain suck ass.
